How we choose videos
Travoices shows what travel vloggers actually said about a place, and lets you jump to that moment in their video. These rules decide which videos and clips appear.
- We pick a clip for what it shows and says about a place — not for the creator's views.
- Channels that are mainly political commentary, from any side, are not included.
- Official and state media channels — national broadcasters, government or tourism-board promotion accounts — are not treated as vloggers.
- When a video's description or credible reporting says the trip was invited or sponsored, we label it.
- We don't take money from tourism boards or government bodies to include or rank places.
- Xinjiang and Tibet are not covered yet.
- Quotes are short (up to 200 characters) and link to the moment in the video. Translations are machine translations.
- Numbers on Travoices — mentions, vloggers, clips — are our own counts of the clips we index, not YouTube statistics. We don't show YouTube view or subscriber counts.
